Special Advisory: Barita Investments Limited (BIL)

Barita Investments Limited (BIL) has been advised by Cornerstone Investments Holdings Limited of the closure of its Offer to acquire 100% of the issued shares in BIL at a price of $9.20.

The Offer to the shareholders of BIL was published on Thursday, July 19, 2018 and was open for acceptance on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The Offer (being fully taken up) was closed on Thursday, August 16, 2018.

In light of the above, BIL has advised that trading in the Company’s shares will be suspended on the Jamaica Stock Exchange for the period Friday, August 17, 2018, to Thursday, August 23, 2018.
