Radio Jamaica Limited (RJR) has advised that its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Anthony Smith, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025. RJR has further advised that Mr. Joseph Matalon, Chairman of the Board, has been appointed Executive Chairman. He will therefore assume executive authority on a temporary basis and subject to regular Board review.
The Company has also advised that the Board has appointed Mr. Douglas Orane as Lead Director and chair of the Transitional Oversight Committee.
