Radio Jamaica Limited (RJR) has advised that some information technology systems were affected by a cybersecurity incident on its network. RJR has further advised that information security is a top priority for RJRGLEANER, and the Company continues to take appropriate measures to safeguard the integrity of its information technology systems.

RJR has also advised that upon discovery of the matter, the Company activated its incident response protocols, including taking systems offline out of an abundance of caution to secure its network.  The Company also implemented its established business contingency plans to maintain operations. The RJRGLEANER Communications Group has notified the relevant authorities and will continue to comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations. The Company has further advised that it is in the early stages of its investigation and assessment of the event and will continue to evaluate the extent of the impact on operations.
