Jamaica Stock Exchange Limited (JSE) has advised that the Company is managing a cybersecurity incident that was recently identified and contained. The JSE has further advised that following its investigation and cooperation with the authorities, it has confirmed that some personal information was affected and that some data was accessed without authorisation.
The JSE has also advised that based on its investigation to date, the Company has not identified evidence that the incident affected its trading or settlement platforms, customer login credentials or core transactional systems. The Company has further advised that the matter has been reported to the relevant authorities and that affected individuals are being directly contacted with specific guidance.
