Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) has declared an interim dividend of 10 cents ($0.10) per share payable on October 21, 2020 to shareholders on record as at September 29, 2020. The ex-dividend date is September 28, 2020. SGJ has further advised that consequent to guidance issued by the Regulator, the payment of dividends shall be limited to Shareholders that own less than 1% of the Group’s shares. The Company has obtained agreement and consent from all Shareholders that own 1% or more of the Group’s shares with respect to the deferral of payment of this dividend declaration until such appropriate time to be determined in consultation with the Regulator.
