LEARN reports twelve months net loss of $15.86 million

Unaudited financials for the twelve months ended December 31, 2025:

EduFocal Limited (LEARN) for the twelve months ended December 31, 2025, reported a 28% decrease in Revenue, totalling $70.27 million compared to $97.17 million in the corresponding period last year. Revenue for the fourth quarter declined by 2%, closing at $14.54 million relative to $14.86 million recorded for the comparable quarter of 2024.

Administrative and Operating Expenses amounted to $30.40 million (2024: $324.69 million), representing a 91% decrease year over year. Depreciation and amortisation totalled $1.84 million, an 83% decrease relative to $9.68 million reported for the twelve months ended December 31, 2024. The company booked depreciation and amortisation of $498,046 for the fourth quarter versus $229,985 for the similar quarter of 2024.

Impairment loss on financial assets amounted to $23.75 million (2024: reversal of $216.45 million). Operating Profit amounted to $14.28 million, compared to an operating loss of $21.58 million in 2024. Finance costs for the twelve months ended December 31, 2025, amounted to $30.14 million, a 4% decrease relative to $31.26 million reported in 2024.

Loss Before Taxation for the twelve months ended December 31, 2025, amounted to $15.86 million, reflecting a 70% improvement relative to the $52.53 million loss reported in 2024. Loss Before Taxation for the fourth quarter amounted to $5.43 million, compared to a loss of $7.76 million in the corresponding quarter of 2024.

No tax charge was incurred for the period, compared to a tax charge of $5.44 million in 2024.

Net Loss for the twelve months ended December 31, 2025, amounted to $15.86 million, a 73% improvement compared to the $57.97 million net loss reported in 2024. Net Loss for the fourth quarter amounted to $5.43 million (2024: $13.20 million).

Net Loss attributable to the owners of EduFocal Limited for the twelve months ended December 31, 2025, amounted to $15.85 million, a 72% improvement relative to $57.62 million reported in 2024. For the fourth quarter, Net Loss attributable to shareholders totalled $5.42 million, compared to $13.12 million for the similar quarter in 2024.

Consequently, Loss Per Share for the twelve months amounted to $0.02 (2024: LPS: $0.09), while Loss Per Share for the quarter totaled $0.01 (2024: LPS: $0.02). The twelve-month trailing LPS was $0.02 and the number of shares used in these calculations was 648,446,094.

Notably, LEARN’s stock price closed the trading period on February 16, 2026 at a price of $0.26.

Balance Sheet Highlights

The company’s assets totaled $178.86 million (2024: $233.32 million). The movement in total assets was influenced by 14% decrease in ‘Intangible Assets’ amounting to $134.93 million (2024: $157.72 million).

Shareholders’ deficit was $148.18 million (2024: Shareholders’ deficit of $127.83 million).
