The Consolidated Bakeries (Jamaica) Limited (PURITY) for the year ended December 31, 2025, reported a 3% increase in Revenue totaling $1.65 billion compared to $1.60 billion in the corresponding period last year. Revenue for the fourth quarter had a 4% increase to close at $375.35 million compared to $359.45 million for the comparable quarter of 2024.
Cost of Sales amounted to $999.44 million (2024: $980.95 million), this represents a increase of 2% year over year. Consequently, gross profit increased by 5% to $650.30 million compared to $617.83 million for the year ended December 31, 2024. The company booked gross profit of $130.51 million for the fourth quarter versus $137.58 million reported for the similar quarter of 2024.

Pre-tax loss for the year ended December 31, 2025, amounted to $1.86 million, a 90% decrease relative to $18.12 million reported in 2024. Pre-tax loss for the fourth quarter amounted to $24.07 million (2024: Loss of $12.74 million).
Tax charge for the year ended December 31, 2025, amounted $6.69 million (2024: $0). As such, Net Loss for the year amounted to $8.54 million, a 53% decrease from the $18.12 million net loss reported in 2024. For the fourth quarter, Net loss was $24.07 million (2024: Net loss of $12.74 million).
Consequently, Loss Per Share for the year amounted to $0.04 (2024: LPS: $0.08), while Loss Per Share for the quarter totaled $0.11 (2024: LPS: $0.06). The twelve-month trailing LPS was $0.04, and the number of shares used in these calculations was 222,709,171.
Notably, PURITY’s stock price closed the trading period on February 13, 2026, at a price of $1.60.
Balance Sheet Highlights
The company’s assets totalled $2.12 billion (2024: $2.11 billion).
Shareholder’s equity was $1.60 billion (2024: $1.61 billion), representing a book value per share of $7.18 (2024: $7.22).
