First estimates from Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office, show that seasonally adjusted services production rose by 1.1% in the EU and by 1.0% in the Euro Area in February 2024 compared to January 2024. The production of services increased by 0.8% in the euro region and by 0.3% throughout the EU in January 2024.
In February 2024 in comparison to February 2023, the EU and the Euro Area had increases in services production of 4.8% (EU) and 4.9% (Euro Area), respectively.
