Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited (C&W) has received approval by the Tax Administration of Jamaica for C&W accounting terminal date to be changed to December 31st with effect from Year of Assessment 2016. In accordance with the Income Tax Act approval, C&W basis period for Years of Assessment 2016 and 2017 shall be as follows:

For subsequent Years of Assessment, C&W accounting period for Income tax purposes shall be twelve (12) months period, January 1 to December 31 and the corresponding return will be due on March 15 in the following year.
