Barita Investments Limited (BIL) has advised that on April 4, 2025, at a hearing with respect to the application for reorganization of the Cornerstone Group, a Judge of the Supreme Court issued an order (the “Order”) sanctioning the composite Schemes of Arrangement (the “Schemes”) as set out in the Fixed Date Claim Form filed on December 31, 2023. BIL has further advised that the Schemes were approved pursuant to sections 206 to 208 of the Companies Act of Jamaica (the “Act”).
