Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited (SJ) has advised that at a special meeting of the Board of Directors of its subsidiary, Sagicor Investments Jamaica Limited (SIJL), Mr. Christopher Zacca was appointed Chairman of the Board of SIJL effective July 8, 2019. SJ has further advised that Mr. Zacca succeeds Mr. Peter Melhado who resigned from the Board of SIJL, consequent upon his appointment as Chairman of SJ on July 2, 2019. SJ has also advised that at a special meeting of the Board of Directors of its subsidiary, Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited (SBJ), Mr. Bruce James was appointed Chairman of the Board of SBJ effective July 8, 2019. Mr. James succeeds Mr. Richard Byles who resigned as Director and Chairman from the Board of SBJ on June 30, 2019.
