Scotia Group Jamaica Limited (SGJ) has advised that Anya Schnoor will retire from its Board, effective March 4, 2026 and will have a new substantive role as Scotiabank’s Executive Vice President, Global Insurance.
SGJ has also advised that upon Anya’s retirement, the Board of Directors intends to appoint Vernon Douglas as Chair of SGJ. The Company has further advised that considering Vernon’s upcoming appointment as Chair of SGJ, he will step down from his position as Chair of Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited on March 4, 2026, and will remain a Director of the Board.
