Salada Foods Jamaica Limited (SALF) has advised that effective October 1, 2021, the business operations of Mountain Peak Foods Processors Limited (MPFP), a wholly owned subsidiary of SALF, as a going concern, including all MPFP’s assets and liabilities, will be transferred to SALF. The Board of SALF does not expect the transfer of MPFP’s operational business, assets and liabilities to have any operational or material financial impact on the consolidated net assets, earning per share capital and substantial shareholdings of SALF. The Board also do not foresee any significant risk or liability to be assumed by SALF.
