Express Catering Limited (ECL) reported a 5% increase in revenue for the first quarter ended August 31, 2025, totaling $6.79 million compared to $6.48 million in the corresponding three months of 2024.
Cost of Sales amounted to $1.74 million (2024: $1.94 million), representing a 10% year-over-year decrease. Consequently, gross profit increased by 11% to $5.05 million compared to $4.54 million for the first quarter ended August 31, 2024.

Foreign Exchange Gain for the quarter amounted to $3,038, a 61% decline relative to $7,693 reported in 2024 and there was no taxation reported for the period.
Net Profit for the three months increased by 50% to $1.51 million (2024: $1.01 million). Consequently, Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the three months amounted to $0.092 (2024: $0.062). The twelve-month trailing EPS was $0.26, based on 1,637,500,000 shares outstanding.
Notably, ECL’s stock price closed the trading period on October 8, 2025, at $2.66, reflecting a P/E ratio of 6.35x.
Balance Sheet Highlights
The company’s assets totaled $58.65 million (2024: $56.02 million). This increase was driven by growth in other intangible assets, which amounted to $8.92 million (2024: $3.56 million).
Shareholders’ equity was $11.72 million (2024: $7.96 million), representing a book value per share of $1.15 (2024: $0.77).
