MFS reports six months net profit of $14.32 million

Unaudited financials for the six months ended December 31, 2025:

MFS Capital Partners Limited (MFS), for the six months ended December 31, 2025, reported a 39% increase in Revenue totaling $71.26 million compared to $51.36 million in the corresponding period last year. Revenue for the second quarter had a 1% decrease to close at $29.83 million compared to $30.02 million for the comparable quarter of 2024.

Gross profit increased by 39% to $71.26 million compared to $51.36 million for the six months ended December 31, 2024. The company booked gross profit of $29.83 million for the second quarter versus $30.02 million reported for the similar quarter of 2024.

Other operating income decreased by 93% to close at $3.79 million (2024: $55.81 million), while administrative expenses declined by 3% from $43.99 million in 2024 to $42.53 million in the period under review. As a result, operating profit for the six months ended December 31, 2025, amounted to $32.52 million, a 49% decrease relative to $63.17 million reported in 2024.

Finance costs, net, for the six months ended December 31, 2025, amounted to $4.54 million, a 6% increase relative to $4.29 million reported in 2024. Finance costs, net, for the second quarter amounted to $2.14 million (2024: $3.18 million).

Profit before taxation totaled $27.97 million, a 52% decrease from the corresponding period last year (2024: $58.88 million). For the second quarter, profit before taxation declined by 26% to $6.77 million compared to $9.16 million for the corresponding quarter of 2024.

Taxation for the six months ended December 31, 2025, amounted to $13.66 million, a 66% increase relative to $8.22 million reported in 2024. Taxation for the second quarter amounted to $4.53 million (2024: $5.00 million).

Net profit for the six months ended December 31, 2025, decreased by 72% to reach $14.32 million (2024: $50.67 million). For the second quarter, net profit declined by 46% to close at $2.24 million compared to $4.16 million for the corresponding quarter of 2024.

Consequently, Earnings Per Share for the six months amounted to $0.022 (2024: EPS: $0.077), while Earnings Per Share for the quarter totaled $0.003 (2024: LPS: $0.006). The twelve-month trailing EPS was $0.075, and the number of shares used in these calculations was 660,400,000.

Notably, MFS’s stock price closed the trading period on February 13, 2026, at $0.44, with a corresponding P/E ratio of 5.88x.

Balance Sheet Highlights

The company’s assets totaled $825.58 million (2024: $846.28 million), representing a 2% decline year over year.

The decline in total assets was primarily driven by:

  • A reduction in due from related parties to $174.39 million (2024: $202.21 million)
  • A sharp decline in investment securities to $2.87 million (2024: $23.56 million)

Shareholders’ equity was $307.32 million (2024: $234.36 million), representing a book value per share of $0.47 (2024: $0.35)
