January 20, 2022 According to the Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN), the Consumer Price Index rose ten basis points to 117.0 in December 2021. Up from 116.0  recorded in November. December’s upward movement was largely influenced by a 4.7 per cent increase in the index for the division  ‘Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels’.
